Bring your prom dress donations to Butterfly for Charleston's Cinderella Day!

Through March 1, bring your prom dresses to donate at Butterfly! We are collecting dresses for Charleston's Cinderella Day, which takes place on Saturday, March 3. Our goal is to gather 350 prom dresses for local Charleston teens, since every young lady deserves to feel like a princess at prom! 

Cinderella Day will be held at the North Charleston Dream Center located at 5505 North Rhett Ave. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aside from being able to find the perfect dress, shoes and jewelry for free, each girl will be treated to a mini-make-over complete with up-do tips and styling, make-up and manicures. Refreshments and music will allow the girls to relax and soak in the moment with girlfriends or family members.

Dig through your closests and pull out those fabulous dresses for our Charleston young ladies to wear to prom! Bring them by Butterfly or Victoria's Curvacious starting tomorrow, FRIDAY Feb. 24! Thank you so much for your generosity!

Butterfly Owner Amanda Rosen Speaks on Entrepreneurship with Tommy Baker's College of Charleston Students

Butterfly owner Amanda Rosen stopped by Tommy Baker's Entrepreneurial class on Tuesday, Feb. 7 for a lesson in entrepreneurship with Mr. Baker's students! Mr. Baker, owner of Baker Motor Company in Charleston, teaches a class of senior level students at the College of Charleston. Amanda focused on several important points she has gained from both her life and company, including staying goal oriented with your business, using your business to support others in need, and how to best lead, inspire and motivate female employees. 

Amanda says, "You have to believe in yourself thoroughly and unequivocally" to make your business a success. She also says, "When I was in my 20s I thought I was invincible…and I still do!” We especially love this note of confidence!

Butterfly at the King Street Christmas Parade!

We had so much fun being in the King Street Christmas parade this year in Charleston! We dressed up Pinky (the Butterfly car!) in her finest tinsel and ribbon (and let's not forget the wreath on front!) for a lovely drive through downtown Charleston. We even brought the lovely Maddy with us, our own Miss Teen Charleston who we sponsored this pageant year! Here are a few of our favorite photos from the event:
